A New York-based journalist with nearly 12 years experience in writing and editing, an edge in web skills, and a master’s in journalism from NYU. Deep understanding of trend forecasting, e-commerce engagement, cross-platform strategy, and global fashion and beauty markets. Put in a less resume-esque way, I am a research-everything and live-and-breathe what I write kind of journalist. I'm freakishly good at shopping pages because I always think of immersive editorial angles that could convince anyone to buy just about anything. My writing is never fluff; I come armed with every morsel of writing wisdom I ingested from my professors at NYU– the first that pop to mind are no fillers, no repetitiveness, no gushing. I  keep up with everything fashion, beauty and lifestyle (from iPads to kitchen utensils) diligently (ok, obsessively), and love writing about stuff I have discovered through decades of poring over products and chats with a long list of industry movers, from makeup artists to brand founders. Yet on the other end, I also have a knack for (over) analyzing sci-fi movies and writing profiles that explore the depths of the subject's soul.
